BANGKOK, 20th November 2016 (NNT) - OTOP The Wisdom to the World Fair at Khlong Padung Krung Kasem continues to attract crowds of shoppers keen to inspect the large quantity of top products.

The fair, co-organized by the Interior Ministry and the Foreign Affairs Ministry, differs from previous events in that products from other countries are also on sale. Must-buy items include Batik clothes from Indonesia, woven cloth from Nepal, carpets from Pakistan, and even cheese and bread from Germany.

The Consular Affairs Department has set up a booth providing passport services to the public. Visitors will also have an opportunity to buy quality rice sold directly by agriculturists. One of the customers said she was impressed with the large array of local and exotic products and services on offer.

The representative of an Ayuthaya based agriculturist group thanked the government for allowing farmers to sell their products without the intervention of rice mills or middlemen. The fair opens everyday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue until 27th November.
