BANGKOK, 16 November 2016 (NNT) – Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn led the presentation of the morning meal to monks performing the funeral prayer for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej this morning.

Arriving at 6:57AM at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall of the Grand Palace, Her Royal Highness presented meals to monks from Wat Rajasitharam Rajaworawiharn and Wat Anongkaram Worawiharn who had been performing the funeral prayer since the night before. The ceremony was attended by a number of senior civil servants.

Her Royal Highness bid musicians at the ceremony perform the piece “Ching Phra Chan” during the morning meal from now until 100 days since the passing of His Majesty the late King.
