The Ministry of Tourism and Sports will launch an event at the government's floating market Khlong Padung Krung Kasem to offer affordable tourism and sports-related products.

Ms. Renu Tunkachivangoon, the Deputy Secretary-General for Political Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Director-General of the Tourism Department Wansiri Morakul have recently announced at a press conference that the event will be held from June 3 - 24.

Visitors can expect to see a variety of tourism and sports-related items. Tour agencies will offer discount tour packages at the floating market. Tourist police will be on hand to provide security at the event.

Sports equipment as well as sportswear will also be available for special prices. Deputy Prime Minister Gen Tanasak Patimapragorn will preside over the opening ceremony on Friday, June 3.
