Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has thanked leaders of foreign countries, international organizations and the Thai people for paying tribute to King Bhumibol.

Gen Prayut comments that the heartfelt condolences from leaders of foreign nations, and international organizations testify to their recognition of HM the King’s remarkable achievements and dedication to his subjects throughout the seven decades of his reign and are also proof of their understanding of the Thai people’s feelings.

Gen Prayut in addition thanked Thai people from all walks of life for manifesting their loyalty to the much-love monarch through various tribute activities such as the singing of the royal anthem at Sanam Luang and the offering of social services by volunteers in Bangkok and other provinces.
