Residents of Lampang province held a forest longevity ceremony and constructed a dike at Mon Phraya Chae National Park in honor of Her Majesty the Queen’s 84th birthday anniversary.

Around 300 people from Ban Rai Sila Thong community, the Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Office of Lampang, the Pichai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mon Phraya Chae National Park and other relevant agencies participated in the longevity ceremony and built the dike over Huai Pha Dun Creek.

Both activities, which took place in Pichai subdistrict, were aimed at implementing Her Majesty the Queen’s advice on forest and water conservation. They were also intended to raise awareness among locals about the importance of natural resources.
