The Ministry of Interior will hold a lecture on the draft constitution for its officials in May, before assigning them to pass on their knowledge to Thais across the country.

Interior Minister Gen Anupong Paochinda has revealed that the Constitution Drafting Commission (CDC) is going to use the ministry's resources to educate Thai people about the draft charter.

Around 300,000 government officials nationwide will attend the lectures from May 14 -15, where they will learn more about the draft charter from the CDC. An abridged version of the draft constitution will also be published.

While people remain confused as to what constitutes a violation of the draft charter referendum, the Interior Minister said the Election Commission of Thailand will soon clarify to the people what they can or cannot do.
