The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai, in collaboration with ASEAN Consulates-General in Chennai and the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Branch Office in Chennai co-organized the ASEAN-India Film Festival 2025 at Avici College of Art and Science, Chennai, as part of the celebration of the ASEAN-India Tourism Year 2025.

Thailand selected the film "A Time to Fly" for screening at the festival, with support from the Thai Media Fund. This inspiring film for youth showcases the positive image of Thai society that embraces diversity and protects the rights and opportunities of youth. The film presents its narrative through a simple storytelling approach, complemented by natural scenic landscapes of rural Thai communities.

In addition to the film screening, short promotional videos highlighting Thai tourism were presented by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Thai snacks were also distributed to attendees, courtesy of Thai Airways International, enhancing the overall experience for film viewers.

The ASEAN-India Film Festival 2025 serves as a significant platform for promoting cultural relations between ASEAN and India through cinema that reflects the unique identity and diversity of each country in the region.
