BANGKOK, 10 October 2016 (NNT) - Leaders and representatives of 34 member states of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue are attending the second ACD Summit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha presided over the opening ceremony for the ACD Summit which pertains to international logistics, trade, investment and other development issues. Remarkably, the Asian private and civil sectors will be involved in the strengthening of the continent's economic potentials.
The premier is hosting a luncheon at Government House for the Asian leaders who will then resume the ACD Summit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Security measures have been tightened up during the ACD Summit with the use of detectors and scanners for explosives and suspicious-looking objects.
