BANGKOK, 3 October 2016 (NNT) – The government has begun finalizing preparations for Thailand’s hosting of the 2nd Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) set to take place this October 9-10.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to organize the meeting of policymakers and business leaders from 34 Asian nations.

The gathering is to include seminars on topics such as networking financial innovations across Asia, financial technology and investing in Asian infrastructure. It will also stage discussions on regional cooperation for infrastructure financing.

ACD 2016 will also build on agreements made by the Prime Minister during his participation in the Group of 20 (G20) summit in China in September when the premier resolved to lead the world in adopting His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Philosophy.
