Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has presented a slogan to the Thai people for the upcoming National Mother’s Day on August 12th.

Her Majesty's slogan in Thai translates as, "When you teach your children to walk the middle path and be good to others, the country will have good people." The slogan will be published in a Mother’s Day book by the National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand.

Meanwhile, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office M.L. Panadda Diskul chaired a meeting of the standing committee for the celebration of the Her Majesty the Queen’s seventh cycle birthday anniversary. The meeting planned celebratory events to take place from August 9th - 13th.

A celebration for the Queen's birthday at Government House on August 9th, as well as religious ceremonies at the Emerald Buddha Temple and Phra Thinang Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall on August 12th and 13th, respectively, will be broadcast live to the general public.

Deputy Finance Minister Wisudhi Srisuphan also announced the launch of a tree-growing campaign to celebrate the Queen's birthday. Tree saplings will be planted over 61 rai within Benjakiti Park.
