The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) is set to approve an agreement on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and the draft act that will authorize the AIIB's operations.

The NLA meeting today is scheduled to consider the approval of 5 urgent laws, 4 of which are proposed from the Cabinet, while the approval of an agreement on the AIIB, and the authorization of the AIIB's transactions are among the major agendas.

The NLA will also consider other legal articles on this occasion, namely the Silapakorn University Act, the Nuclear Energy Act, and the Healthcare Facility Act which have already passed the initial consideration phase from the ad-hoc committee.
