On 11 June 2026, Consul-General Racha Aribarg, accompanied by Ms. Setu Sharma, Manager of International Programs at T-Hub, visited the National Innovation Agency (NIA) to participate in a roundtable discussion with NIA executives and officials led by Dr. Kritsada Boonfueng, Executive Director of the National Innovation Agency. Representatives from Thai startups also joined the discussion and exchanged views on opportunities for collaboration.

During the meeting, Ms. Sharma introduced T-Hub, one of India’s leading startup incubators and innovation hubs based in Hyderabad, Telangana. She highlighted T-Hub’s extensive network of partners across government agencies, academic institutions, investors, and multinational technology companies. Ms. Sharma also presented T-Hub’s short-term immersion and acceleration programs, which offer opportunities for Thai startups to gain insights into India’s regulatory landscape, market entry strategies, business model development, and investor pitching, with the aim of enhancing access to funding, strategic partners, and future business opportunities in India.

NIA expressed interest in collaborating with T-Hub to support high-potential Thai startups in expanding into the Indian market. Both sides also discussed strengthening linkages between the innovation ecosystems of Thailand and India, with a view to encouraging Indian startups to leverage Thailand as a gateway to ASEAN and a base for regional expansion.
