On 18 February 2015,  Thai delegation from School of Renewable Energy Technology (SERT), Naresuan University, of 4 persons led by Dr. Sukruedee Sukchai, Director of SERT, paid a courtesy call on Consul-General of Thailand in Chennai.

Director of SERT briefed the Consul-General on the visit of 3 universities in Tamil Nadu namely Hindustan University, VIT University, and AVIT, Vinayaka Missions University. Naresuan University aims to work together with the three universities to enhance furhter technical cooperation and collaborations in the near future.
