สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไนได้ร่วมกับชมรมปั่นจักรยาน BOB ซึ่งมีสมาชิกเป็นบุคคลชั้นนำในภาคธุรกิจหลายสาขาในรัฐทมิฬนาฑู ได้ดำเนินโครงการประกวดภาพถ่าย Amazing Thailand .. Bike with Two Wheels โดยชมรมปั่นจักรยาน BOB ได้ให้ความร่วมมือในการสนับสนุนให้สมาชิกที่เดินทางไปยังประเทศไทยเพื่อปั่นจักรยานและท่องเที่ยวในช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม 2559 ส่งภาพถ่ายเข้าประกวดใน 2 หัวข้อ  ได้แก่ Beautiful Scenery  และ People and Culture ซึ่งสมาชิกชมรมมีความประทับใจ และส่งให้สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ คัดเลือกภาพถ่ายที่ดีที่สุด โดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้คัดเลือกภาพถ่ายจำนวน 34 ภาพจาก 150 ภาพที่ได้รับจากชมรม BOB  เพื่อเผยแพร่ในเว็บไซต์สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และที่ FACEBOOK ของสมาชิก BOB ต่อไป  โดยเมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2559 ที่ผ่านมา ประธานชมรม BOB และสมาชิกได้เดินทางมารับรางวัลภาพถ่ายจากสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ  โดยมีกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน เป็นประธานมอบรางวัล

ทั้งนี้ การดำเนินโครงการประกวดภาพถ่าย Amazing Thailand .. Bike with Two Wheels นี้จะมีส่วนช่วยประชาสัมพันธ์ภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของประเทศไทยในสายตาประชาชนอินเดีย โดยเฉพาะในส่วนของการมีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สวยงาม และมีผู้คนและวัฒนธรรมที่มีความหลากหลาย และเป็นมิตร รวมทั้งเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวแบบผจญภัยและการปั่นจักรยานในประเทศไทยให้เป็นที่นิยมในหมู่คนอินเดียเพิ่มขึ้น

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai in collaboration with BOB bicycle Club, whose members are celebrities from many sectors in Tami Nadu State, organized a Photo Competition Project called "Amazing Thailand .. Bike with Two Wheels". The BOB delegation consisting of 42 members visited Thailand in August, took photos and provided more than 150 photos to the Consulate for this photo competition under two themes: Beautiful Scenery and People and Culture. The Consulate has selected best 34 photos for publicizing in the website of the Consulate and the Facebook of BOB members.   

BOB team leader and a member has met Consul-General and Deputy Consul-General of Thailand on 8 September 2016 and brought back the prize for best photos.

The photo competition project so called "Amazing Thailand.. bike with Two Wheels will enhance the good image of Thailand in India as the country that offers beautiful tourist destinations, diversity of people and culture and friendly hospitality. It will also help promote the adventurous tourism and biking tourism in Thailand to Indian people.
