เมื่อวันอังคารที่ ๑๖ สิงหาคม ๒๕๕๙ นางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้พบหารือกับนาย C.S Muthu Subramaniyan ตำแหน่ง President ของ India-ASEAN-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce & Industry Chennai เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการลงทุนของภาคเอกชนไทยกับภาคเอกชนของรัฐทมิฬนาฑู โดยเฉพาะในสาขายางพาราและผลิตภัณฑ์จากยางพารา และความร่วมมือในการจัด Roadshow ของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ซึ่งจะนำผู้ประกอบการด้านยางพาราไทยสำรวจตลาดและพบหารือกับผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และผลิตล้อยางของอินเดียระหว่างวันที่ ๑๒-๑๕ กันยายน ๒๕๕๙

On Tuesday 16 August 2016, Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, met President of India-ASEAN-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce & Industry Chennai and discussed about trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Tamil Nadu State particularly in Rubber and tyres industries and the roadshow 2016 project that the Royal Thai Consulate plans to bring Thai delegation from Thailand’s rubber and automotive tire industries to visit Chennai during 12-15 September 2016.
