เมื่อวันที่ ๙ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๙ นางครองขนิษฐ รักษ์เจริญ ได้เข้ารับตำแหน่งกงสุลใหญ่ ที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน ซึ่งมีเขตครอบคลุม ๕ รัฐทางใต้ของอินเดีย ได้แก่ รัฐทมิฬนาฑู รัฐกรณาฏกะ รัฐอานธรประเทศ รัฐเกรละ และรัฐเตลังคานา แล้วและเมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๙ ข้าราชการและลูกจ้างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้จัดกิจกรรมต้อนรับ ในโอกาสดังกล่าวกงสุลใหญ่ฯได้มอบนโยบายแก่ข้าราชการและลูกจ้างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน โดยเน้นให้ทำงานเป็นทีม และให้หน่วยงานต่างๆ ประสานงานกันอย่างใกล้ชิด เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับอินเดียในทุกมิติ

On Friday 9^th July 2016, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen assumed her duty as Consul-General at the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chennai, which covers 5 states of southern India including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Telangana.

The Consulate officers and staffs held a welcoming ceremony for the Consul-General on Monday 11^th July 2016. At that time, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen gave a working policy to the Consulate officers and staffs by encouraging them to work as a team and enhancing closer cooperation among the Thai authorities to promote the relationship in all aspects between Thailand and India.
