ระหว่างวันที่ 3-5 กรกฏาคม 2559 นางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ รักษาราชการแทนกงสุลใหญ่ ได้เดินทางไปรับและเยี่ยมนักเรียนทุนพระราชทานในสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ที่จะเข้าศึกษาที่เมืองบังคาลอร์ รวม ๒ คน ได้แก่ นางสาววลินญา พรมขอนยาง และนายเลาตง แซ่ย่าง โดยรองกงสุลใหญ่ รักษาราชการแทนกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน ได้ประสานเรื่องการเข้าศึกษาที่ AIMS Insitute of Higher Education และดูแลเรื่องความเป็นอยู่ของนักเรียนทุน พร้อมทั้งได้ให้โอวาทและกำลังใจสำหรับนักศึกษาให้สำเร็จหลักสูตร เพื่อกลับไปทำประโยชน์ให้ประเทศชาติต่อไป

During 3-5 July 2016, Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, and Acting Consul-General, visited Bangalore, Karnataka State, to receive and visit Thai students who received the Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project. The two Thai students namely Ms. Walinya Phomkhonyang and Mr. Laotong Saeyang, will study at AIMS Institute of Higher Education in Bangalore. Acting Consul-General has coordinated with the University to accommodate the two students as well as give the students moral support  and blessed them for their successful education.
