เมื่อวันที่ ๒๓ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๕๙  รองกงสุลใหญ่ รักษาราชการแทนกงสุลใหญ่ได้มอบเงินบริจาคให้แก่   The Overseas Women’s Club และ Arcot Foundation เพื่อสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานขององค์กรดังกล่าวในการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยจากเหตุการณ์อุทกภัยครั้งใหญ่ในรัฐทมิฬนาฑู การบริจาคเงินให้แก่องค์กรในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นการดำเนินงานเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชนไทยกับอินเดีย และสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ตั้งใจที่จะทำเพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถในวโรกาสเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาครบรอบ  ๘๔ พรรษา

On 23 February 2016 Deputy Consul-General presented the donation to The Overseas Women’s Club and Arcot Foundation to support the work of the organizations in helping the people affected by the severe flood in Tamil Nadu State. This donation is considered as the gesture for enhancing the relations between peoples from Thailand and Tamil Nadu State and to celebrate H.M. the Queen’s 84th Birthday Anniversary.
