เมื่อวันที่ 10 กุมภาพันธ์ 2559  นางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้พบหารือกับ Mr. M. Velmurugan ตำแหน่ง Executive Vice Chairman ของ Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau (TNGEPB) เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินความร่วมมือด้านการลงทุนของภาคเอกชนไทยในรัฐทมิฬนาฑู โดยเฉพาะในสาขาพลังงานทดแทน ซึ่งทาง TNGEPB ยินดีให้การสนับสนุนการเข้ามาลงทุนของ SME และธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่จากประเทศไทย  ทั้งนี้ TNGEPB นอกจากจะทำหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการลงทุนในรัฐทมิฬนาฑูแล้ว ยังทำหน้าที่เป็น Single Window ในการประสานงานและอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการลงทุนด้วย

On 10 February 2016, Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, met Executive Vice Chairman, Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau (TNGEPB), and discussed about the investment cooperation between Thailand and Tamil Nadu State particularly in the renewable energy sector.  TNGEPB Vice Chairman stated that his office is willing to facilitate the investment of SMEs and large enterprises from Thailand.  TNGEPB is not only the organization to promote the foreign investment in Tamil Nadu, but also plays an important role as Single Window to facilitate the foreign investors.
