เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๕๘ นางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช  รองกงสุลใหญ่ รักษาราชการแทนกงสุลใหญ่ ได้เข้าร่วมงานวันครบรอบการก่อตั้ง 36 ปีของโรงเรียน St. Jude’s Public Schools & Junior College ที่เมือง The Nilgrilis รัฐทมิฬนาฑู ในฐานะ Chief Guest โดยมีนาย P.P. Dhanarajan ประธานโรงเรียน และนาง  Soma Dhanarajan ครูใหญ่ให้การต้อนรับ

การจัดงานครบรอบของโรงเรียนฯ เป็นไปด้วยความอบอุ่น โดยมีผู้ปกครอง นักเรียน พนักงาน ครู ศิษย์เก่าและแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าร่วมอย่างคับคั่ง

ในการนี้ รองกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีกับทางโรงเรียนในวันครบรอบการก่อตั้งโรงเรียน และความสำเร็จของทางโรงเรียนในการจัดการศึกษาแก่เยาวชน  รวมถึงได้กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของการศึกษาในบริบทของโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ซึ่งจะเป็นบทท้าทายที่สำคัญในการจัดการเรียนการสอนในลักษณะแบบองค์รวมในอนาคต พร้อมกับได้ให้โอวาทแก่นักเรียนให้มุ่งมั่นในการศึกษาเพื่อความก้าวหน้าในชีวิต หน้าที่การงานและเพื่อการพัฒนาประเทศชาติให้มีขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันเพิ่มขึ้น และยินดีที่ได้พบนักเรียนจากหลายประเทศ ซึ่งรวมทั้งนักเรียนไทยที่ได้มาใช้ชีวิต  เรียน และเล่นด้วยกันในโรงเรียนนี้

On 16 October 2015 Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, and Acting Consul-General, participated the 36^th Annual Day Celebrations of St. Jude’s Public Schools & Junior College, The Nilgrilis, Tamil Nadu State, as Chief Guest. She was welcomed by Mr. P.P. Dhanarajan, Chairman, and Mrs.  Soma Dhanarajan, Principal, of the school.

The celebration was crowded with students, families, staffs, teachers, alumni, and honorable guests.

Deputy Consul-General congratulated to the School for the 36^th Annual Day and the school’s achievement in providing excellent education to students. She mentioned about the importance of education and the changing face of education in the future from specific education to varied comprehensive education.  Moreover, she mentioned to the students to be determined in studying not only for their own future, but also for the country to meet the greater challenge in future and she was so glad to meet many school students from many countries including Thailand to study and play in the school.
