เมื่อวันที่ 11 สิงหาคม  2558 นาย C.N. Sairam ตำแหน่ง Public Relations Officer และนาย S. Subramaniam ตำแหน่ง Special Correspondent จากหนังสือพิมพ์ Dinamalar  ได้พบนางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการเข้าร่วมโครงการนำสื่อมวลชนอินเดียเยือนไทยของหนังสือพิมพ์ Dinamalar

สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้นำผู้สื่อข่าวอินเดียเข้าร่วมโครงการนำสื่อมวลชนอินเดียเยือนไทยมาแล้ว 3 ครั้ง โดยโครงการดังกล่าวเป็นโครงการที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และได้รับความร่วมมือจากหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทย ได้แก่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ เมืองเจนไน สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ณ เมืองมุมไบ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเมืองมุมไบ และบริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน)   

สำหรับการเยือนประเทศไทยของหนังสือพิมพ์ Dinamalar นั้น เป็นการเดินทางของสื่อมวลชนอินเดียช่วงที่สี่ของโครงการฯ โดยผู้แทนจากหนังสือพิมพ์ Dinamalar  จะเดินทางไปพร้อมกับผู้สื่อข่าวจากนิตยสาร Indian Transport & Logistics  คณะผู้สื่อข่าวอินเดียที่เดินทางไปประเทศไทยครั้งนี้มีกำหนดการเข้าร่วมงาน TILOG and Logistix 2015 และเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญในกรุงเทพมหานคร ระหว่างวันที่ 1-2 ก.ย. 2558

การเดินทางของสื่อมวลชนอินเดียในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างไทยกับอินเดียแล้ว ยังประสงค์ที่จะให้ชาวอินเดียทั่วไปได้รับทราบข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพของประเทศไทยในฐานะศูนย์กลางด้านโลจิสติกส์ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ด้วย

On 11 August 2015, Mr. C.N. Sairam, Public Relations Officer and Mr. S. Subramaniam, Special Correspondent from Dinamalar Newspaper met Deputy Consul-General to discuss on the participation of Dinamalar Newspaper in the "Reporter Visit to Thailand Program".

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai has led the Indian press to Thailand three times this year.  The program is organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai with the funding support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and the collaboration among team Thailand in India namely Office of Thai Trade Center, Chennai, Thailand Board of Investment, Mumbai, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai Airways International, Chennai Office.

The visit to Thailand of the representative from Dinamalar Newspaper is in the fourth leg of the program and will be accompanied with the invited reporters from Indian Transport & Logistics  Magazine.

The group of the reporters has the schedule to visit Thailand during 1-2 September 2015in order to visit the tourist destination in Bangkok and to participate in TILOG –Logistix 2015, the most comprehensive trade platform where logistics and supply chain service and solution providers can meet potential customers, catch up with new trends, learn new knowledge, and network in the annual gathering of the industry.
