เมื่อวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2558 นาย Nandakumar Selvaraju และนาย Nageswara Rao Kudithi นักศึกษา/อาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัย Hindustan University ได้เข้าพบนางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ ก่อนเดินทางไปศึกษาต่อที่ประเทศไทยในเดือนสิงหาคม 2558

นักศึกษาทั้งสองคนดังกล่าวได้รับทุนการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรให้เข้าศึกษาต่อที่วิทยาลัยพลังงานทดแทน ในระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก สำหรับปีการศึกษา 2558 นี้

การให้ทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาอินเดียของมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรดังกล่าวถือว่ามีส่วนสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการกับอินเดียในภาพรวม และเป็นการต่อยอดความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยไทยกับมหาวิทยาลัยในอินเดียให้มีความใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น

ทั้งนี้ ความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรและมหาวิทยาลัยอินเดีย มีความก้าวหน้าอย่างมาก โดยเมื่อกลางเดือนกรกฎาคมที่ผ่านมา มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรได้ลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับ Hindustan University สาระสำคัญของบันทึกความเข้าใจฯ ดังกล่าวได้เน้นถึงความร่วมมือด้านการเรียนการสอนและการวิจัยด้านพลังงานทดแทน และสาขาอื่นๆ  การแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากร และนักศึกษา ความร่วมมือในการจัดประชุมและสัมมนาทางวิชาการในสาขาต่างๆ

นอกจากนี้ เมื่อปีการศึกษา 2557 ที่ผ่านมา มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรได้สนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก 1 ทุน และปริญญาโท 1 ทุน ให้แก่นักศึกษาและบุคลากรจาก Hindustan University รวม 2 คน ซึ่งขณะนี้ นักศึกษาทั้งสองคนดังกล่าว ได้เข้าศึกษาที่วิทยาลัยพลังงานทดแทน (SERT) แล้ว

On 22 July 2015 Mr. Nandakumar Selvaraju and Mr. Nageswara Rao Kudithi, students and lecturers from Hindustan University, met Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, before leaving for studying further in Thailand in August 2015.

The two Master and PhD students received the scholarship from Naresuan University to study in Master and PhD Program at the School of Renewable Energy Technology in this academic year.  

The role of Naresuan University especially in sponsoring the scholarship for Indian students is the crucial part in enhancing the technical cooperation between Thailand and India and between Thai university and Indian university.

The cooperation between Naresuan University and Indian University has become even more closer as  Naresuan University has signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation with Hindustan University iin the middle of this July. The MOU is focusing on the collaboration on course works, and research works in the field of renewable energy and other potential fields, exchange of students and staffs, and organization of conference and technical seminars.

Last academic year, Naresuan University granted 2 scholarships to students and staffs from Hindustan University to study in Master and PhD program. Those two students are currently studying in the school of Renewable Energy Technology.
