เมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2558 นาย R. Natarajan ตำแหน่ง Managing Editor & Publisher of Motorindia และคณะ ได้พบนางสาวพรพิมล สุคันธวณิช รองกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองเจนไน เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการเตรียมการเข้าร่วมโครงการนำสื่อมวลชนอินเดียเยือนเไทย

โครงการนำสื่อมวลชนอินเดียเยือนไทยเป็นโครงการที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และได้รับความร่วมมือจากหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทย ได้แก่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ เมืองเจนไน สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ณ เมืองมุมไบ และบริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยกำหนดให้สื่อมวลชนอินเดียด่้านเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวเดินทางไปประเทศไทยในช่วงไตรมาส 3-4

โครงการดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจและการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างไทยกับอินเดีย

สำหรับการเยือนประเทศไทยของนิตยสาร Motorindia นั้น เป็นการเดินทางของสื่อมวลชนอินเดียช่วงแรกของโครงการฯ โดยผู้แทนจากนิตยสาร Motorindia จะเดินทางไปพร้อมกับผู้สื่อข่าวจากวารสาร Bulletin of the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) และสำนักข่าวท้องถิ่นของอินเดีย  โดยคณะมีกำหนดการเข้าร่วมงาน SUBCON Thailand 2015 และเยี่ยมชมโรงงานผลิตรถยนต์ และนิคมอุตสาหกรรมโรจนะ และสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารของหน่วยงานด้านการลงทุนและบริษัทอินเดียในประเทศไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 11-14 พ.ค. 2558

On 4 May 2015, Mr. R. Natarajan, Managing Editor & Publisher of Motorindia, and Motorindia representative, met Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General, to discuss on the prepartation for the representatives from Motorindia to participate in the "Reporter Visit to Thaialnd Program".

The "Reporter Visit to Thailand Program", organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai with the funding support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, will allow the Royal Thai Consulate to bring groups of reporters from economic and tourism sector to visit Thailand in Quarter 3 and 4 of this year.

In the program, the Royal Thai Consulate-General has worked closely with the Team Thailand in India namely Office of Thai Trade Center, Chennai, Thailand Board of Investment, Mumbai, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai Airways International, Chennai Office, in an effort to enhance the economic relationship and cooperation between Thailand and India.

The visit to Thailand of the representatives from Motorindia is in the first leg of the program.  They will be accompanied with the invited reporters from the the Bulletin of the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) and Indian local Newspaper.

The group of the reporters has the shedule to participate in SUBCON Thailand 2015 which is the ASEAN's largest industrial subcontracting exhibition for procurement of industrial parts, and visit Thai and Indian automobile manufacturers in Thailand and Rojana Industrial Park as well as make an interview with executives from Board of Thailand Investment during 11-14 May 2015.
