On 1 July 2025, on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General organized a community service activity and donated dry food items to the Mahabodhi Society in Chennai, a shelter for Buddhist pilgrims in Tamil Nadu.
