On the afternoon of 15 September 2026, Consul-General Racha Aribarg met with Mr. Joseph M. Kallivayalil, Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Kerala, and Mr. Santosh Kumar, Vice Chairman of CII Kerala, to discuss ways to promote trade and investment between Thailand and the State of Kerala.

Both sides agreed that tourism, Ayurveda, as well as agricultural product processing, are promising areas for enhanced cooperation. They also agreed to support greater linkages between the private sectors of both sides through participation in business activities and networking, with a view to creating opportunities for further economic and investment cooperation between Thailand and Kerala.
