The Royal Thai Consulate-General led a delegation from Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-Madras) to meet with executives and members of faculty of leading Thai institutions such as Kasetsart University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) from 6 - 9 January 2026. The purpose of this visit was to foster education and academic cooperation between Thai institutes of higher education and universities in South India the field of science, engineering, and technology.
