On 29th November 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chennai, organized an official ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on the Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty, which falls on 5 December 2025 and is also considered to be the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day. Consul-General Racha Aribarg presided over the ceremony and led the officials, representatives of the Thai private sector, and the Thai community in the ceremony to mark this auspicious occasion.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General also held a reception for the Thai community on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day, at the Leela Palace Hotel.
