Payment Option for Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application
The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai, whose consular jurisdiction covers the States of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, and the Union Territory of Pondicherry, wishes to announce that
as of 20 May 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, will only accept
the following form of payment for e-Visa application.
Payment via Demand Draft:
- Applicants are required to make the offline payment via Demand Draft made payable to “Royal Thai Consulate-General”
- Applicants must bring the Demand Draft and the offline payment document generated from the e-Visa system featuring a QR code to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai from Monday to Friday (excluding Consulate’s holidays), from 10.00 – 13.00 hrs only.
Remarks:
- As of 20 May 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chennai
will no longer accept cash deposit to the Consulate’s DBS Bank account.
Any application paid by deposit cash from 20 May 2025 onward will not be processed and the cash deposited will not be refunded by the Consulate.
- Payment must be made within 14 days, after submitting the online application. The expiry date for the payment period period is shown on the offline payment document.
- Visa fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
