On 6 August 2026, Consul-General Racha Aribarg paid a courtesy call on Honorable Mr. D.K. Shivakumar, Chief Minister of Karnataka, at Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between Thailand and the State of Karnataka across a wide range of areas, particularly trade and investment, education, and tourism.
