On 7 November 2025, Consul-General, together with officials and staffs along with their families, and Thai  community in Chennai, a merit-making ceremony at the residence on the occasion of the fifteenth day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand by the offering of requisites and meals to the monks, all respectfully dedicated as a Royal Merit to Her Majesty. The Royal Thai Consulate-General also organized a community service activity by giving donation to support C.S.I Higher Secondary School for the Deaf.
