On 19 November 2025, the Consul-General together with official and members of the Thai community in Bangalore, attended a merit-making ceremony dedicated as a Royal Merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand, at the Maha Bodhi Society Monastery in Bangalore, Karnataka. The ceremony comprised the chanting of Buddhist prayers, meditation session, the offering of requisites, and the offering of meals to monks and novices.
