On August 5, 2025, Consul-General Racha Aribarg, officials from the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chennai together with senior executives from CPF (India) paid a courtesy call on Hon. Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss prospects for enhancing Thai-Andhra Pradesh cooperation in various areas including education, trade and investment, with a particular focus on aquaculture, which Andhra Pradesh is a leading producer and exporter in India. Tourism and hospitality were also highlighted as common interests.

The discussion marks a significant step towards strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Andhra Pradesh in the future.
