On 23 October 2015, Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General and Acting Consul-General, made merit and offered meals to a monk at Indo-Burmese Buddhist Temple, Chennai, as a part of the activity to mark the 105th anniversary of the passing of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V. who is regarded to be the "the Great Beloved King" of Thailand.
