On 16 March 2015,  Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Consul-General,  participated as Chief Guest in the “College Day” of Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences,  The “College Day” ceremony was attended by more than 200  students, alumni, staffs and teachers of the college. 

In this special occasion, Deputy Consul-General had an opportunity to meet and discuss with Dr. C. Joseph Barnobas, Principal,  Dr. Susan Marthandan, Director as well as other administrative team members and teachers of the College on the future collaboration between the College and Thailand.

In her Address, Deputy Consul-General congratulated the College on the special College Day celebrations and the success of the College since the establishment in 1995.  She mentioned  about  the Thailand-India relationship andpPartnership in every endeavor particularly in the political, economic, cultural and education dimensions since the two countries established diplomatic relations, for 68 year, in 1947.

Deputy Consul-General stressed that the Royal Thai Consulate-General will work more closely with Hindustan University and Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences to enhance the education opportunities for students and educational collaboration between Thailand and India.  Moreover, she expressed her appreciation to the core value of Indian people that are humbleness and humility that she experienced from people she met while serving in India.
